The ciricullum is a blend of indoor skill teaching presentations followed up with outdoor field sessions to practice new skills.
This winter workshop has the following in the core curriculum.
- artistic growth
- emotional communication recognition and development
- photographic skill development
- and post production training
Lead by Brian Merry, an experienced college instructor with 30 years of pro photography experience and recipient of multiple awards for his tours and teaching workshops.

Friday night to Sunday Afternoon + post workshop assignment

Physical difficulty
up to 5kms of walking, 2 hours of sitting at a time and late nights until 12 midnight.
The final assignment is a portfolio submission due one week after the workshop classroom sessions conclude. An approximate 750 word portfolio critique will be written by the instructor(s) and offered to the students ~ 2 weeks after the assignment due date as constructive feedback on their creative growth. The portfolio critique will conclude the workshop, 2 weeks after the assignment submission deadline and 4 weeks after the last classroom session.
